EEE kills Hooksett manState health officials reported that an 80-year-old Hooksett man has died of eastern equine encephalitis (EEE), a mosquitoborne disease that claims the lives of about a third of affected humans.
Epsom teacher faces porn chargesAn Epsom man who has taught music to children in several area towns since the 1970s has been charged with multiple counts of possessing child pornography, according to the Merrimack County Sheriff's Office.
Renovate Moore School, say residents at forumCandia residents said they would like to see renovations to the existing Henry W. Moore School facilities and more community involvement toward the issue, and urged school board members to find a plan for the school that will address space issues. The facilities committee also said that the option of a coop school with a border town is not likely at this time.
Private school withdraws interest in Moore SchoolBedford's Mount Zion Christian School will not be relocating to Henry W. Moore School because students from the Candia school will not leave for at least two years, said Mount Zion Headmaster Bob Carter.
